: Problem with playtime
: hmmmmm January 29, 2011, 02:54:39
Hi, ive just got your app yesterday and i must say its the best remote ive ever used! Its fast, user friendly and looks good.

But..  :o

There is something going wrong with the play time in the bottom of the window. Its giving use numbers for songs that last only 3 minutes.. Also when i trie to fast forward in a song it always skips to the next song.

Specs:
HTC Tytn2 with WM6.5
Connected through Wifi (via IP adress, with MAC for WOL)

Ive tried restarting both the pc and the phone, and reinstalling both the server and client side of the remote app.. nothing seems to help..

Here is a little vid of startup and you can see the timeline: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCEu62-WTso (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCEu62-WTso)

Hope you can help me out!

( There isnt a front on the phone, in case youre wondering, since im mounting the phone in my media center case.)

Hi,

the button >> isn't a forward button. It's skip or next.  ;) If you like to forward or rewind, just touch the progress bar and move finger left or right.

I have also noticed wrong playtimes. But they are displayed wrong in WMP and WMC also. For me it's a problem with some MP3 files which seam to be corrupted.

Regards
Markus

Sorry, I have missed the video.

That's very strange. What times are displayed in Media Player if you start the same songs?

Ok. Please follow these steps:

Please download the attachment and run enable_MCC_verbose_debug.reg
Then reproduce the problem and post the "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\MCC_Server\mcc_server_debug.txt" please.
If you start MCC server you will get a popup window in behind the WMC window which informs you about the enabled debugging. You have to click ok first and then switch back to WMC.
Afterwards don't forget to run disable_MCC_verbose_debug.reg to disable the debugging again.
