Hello,

Just started this application yesterday and I'm impressed with the functionality. I only have one major problem. If I play a song from a certain artist I cannot switch to a song from an other artist or to an other album. It just says loading at the bottom of the screen but never plays the song. The only way to switch is to go to for example to TV recording and play a recording. Stop this and switch back to music and then I can play music from an other artist. It looks like the playlist is frozen and cannot switch to an other artist or album.

I noticed somebody else had the same problem:

hier ein Bug (?):

Wechsel zwischen Musikdateien nicht möglich.

1. Spiele Album x ab.
2. Album x wird in Playlist aufgenommen, 1. Titel spielt.
3. Wähle Titel aus Album y.
4. Anzeige unten in App: "Laden", später Abbruch. Neuer Titel wird nicht abgespielt.

Das passiert nur, wenn man ein anderes Album(oder Playlist?) wählt.
Selektiert man z.B. "Alle Musikdateien" können alle Musikdateien abgespielt werden.

Windows 7 Media Center, Android 2.2

Bitte um Feedback und Workaround oder besser Lösung.

Edit: Ein wechsel nach z.B. TV-Aufzeichnungen ist weiterhin möglich und funktioniert. Danach lässt sich auch wieder Album y abspielen. Dann ist jedoch ein Wechsel zu x nicht mehr möglich.

Hi,

Same problem here.
Browsing the music by artist, after have launched a song from that artist, I can't switch to a song of an other artist.
The song stay in loading status at the bottom of the screen.

In fact, the problem seems to occur when I switch to any song which is not in the current playlist (playing now list).
It's making the application unusable because we can launch music only once from the android mobile without restarting WMC.

Using Android 2.3.4, Seven Media Center 32bits + plugins : Media Browser, DVBlink, French language.

It's a fantastic application and I can't wait for the tablet optimisation in v1.5.8.

I'm experiencing the same issue, I do the following to stop it happening:

I "Play All" tracks in an album or create a current playlist

Then, if I want to immediately switch to a track outside the playlist I use "Play Next" and hit ">" (next track) in the bottom-right corner. If I select "Play" on a track if a previous playlist is in use then the "Loading..." error appears and I have to play a Video file to fix it. So I have decided to never use the "Play" option, just "Play Next" and ">".

An other workaround : always use Add to playlist instead of Play, and then move in the playlist to the newly added song... But the playlist grows undefinitely. No way to reset it.

Same issue remains in V1.60. It is quite annoying, because the rest works great. It looks like the current playlist isn't deleted in MC7. If needed I will try and create a log file.

Hi,

please try the following:

Close WMC and MCC
Start MCC or WMC. Wait until both is running.
Start playing a music file in WMC without using MCC.
If the music is playing, open MCC on your Android and try to reproduce the problem.

Hello,

I tried what you said. I did steps 1, 2 and 3 and then switched to the playlist using WMC.
Then I selected another song in MCC, hold it and selected play. Nothing happened to the playlist. The current song kept playing. If I hold the song and select play next it is added to the playlist (that's visible in WMC) so I can then play next.

So I can reproduce the problem following the steps you proposed.

Last week I did a complete reinstall of my mediacenter pc. I also updated my android app of MCC. Now everything works lite it should, so using the play option works like a charm!

Do you still need a log file?
