Hi!

Media Center Control works great!

But (I think up from from verson 1.6.3) the "star rating" under the cover doesn't work and sets always 0 stars to the played song. Setting about song-details works fine.

What happens if you start the server manualy and then connect? Maybe just the automatic startup isn't working.

Hi, you can goto Playlist and hold "All music" and select play. To enable shuffle, goto Music menu and check it.

Maybe it isn't possible? Let me try to explain what I'm looking for in a different way.

In Windows Media Center I can click Music and select "play all".

In MCC there doesn't seem to be a "play all" option. Maybe I'm missing it or maybe it isn't implemented. Does anyone know how to play all songs in their music collection from MCC?

was this ever resolved? I have a win 7 media server connected by cable to the wifi router .. it is detected  by MCC but cant connect .. just stays on "connecting to xyz"

I have mobiltab sleek android.    Downloaded server.says its running.  Got a dyndns. Firewall configured.   Won't work

Hallo,

hat sich erledigt. Das war mein Fehler. Ich habe nach der Win 7 Installation die Benutzer-Verzeichnisse von Laufwerk C auf Laufwerk D umgezogen, da Laufwerk C eine SSD ist.
Die Bibliotheken waren fuer alle User entsprechend angepasst auser fuer die oeffentlichen Ordner. Im MediaCenter waren sie zwar mit Laufwerk D eingetragen, aber in den Bibliothekseintraegen standen sie noch mit Laufwerk C. Der Debug-Modus hat bei der Fehlersuche sehr gut geholfen.
Vielen Dank noch mal fuer die tolle Software.

Android Support / Playing one video at a time?

Hi there, couldn't find any reference to this, so apologies if it's already answered somewhere!

If I play music, I'm happy that I hit the first track on the album and then as each track finishes the next one starts. Perfect.

But if I am in a directory full of DivX TV episodes, I'm more likely to just want to watch one at a time. This seems to be the default behaviour for WMC7, but it looks as if MCC is somehow overriding that and auto-playing every DivX file. Even if I press stop, the next one starts playing. Is there a setting somewhere to control that, please?

Hey. Loving this so far! I had searched for a remote control to play music but never expected this kind of support for WMP and Media Center. I'm using Media Center.

So I want to be able to start MCC on my android and then play all my library music shuffled. I can't figure out how to do this. I can play individual albums easily enough but I can't shuffle and play my whole music collection without going through the classic remote. If I use the classic remote then I have to have the screen on and arrow my way through the options. I'm certain I'm missing something in MCC which makes this easier and so the screen on the computer doesn't have to be visible.

Hallo,

ich habe gestern dieses tolle Stück Software erworben und bin nach meinen ersten Eindrücken sehr zufrieden.
Ich habe aber das Problem, dass die Inhalte aus den öffentlichen Ordnern 'öffentliche Videos' oder 'öffentliche Musik' nicht angezeigt werden. Es erscheinen leere Listen. Aus den eigenen Ordnern und Ordnern an denen ich die Ownerschaft habe werden die Inhalte korrekt angezeigt.
Die öffentlichen Ordner gehören der Gruppe der Administratoren, in der ich aber Mitglied bin.

Ist dies ein Berechtigunsproblem? Oder sollte der MCC Server Dienst unter einem anderen, als dem System-Account laufen?
