Can I play BD ISO and DVD ISO movies with MMC?

Can I play BD ISO and DVD ISO movies with MMC?

Almost all of my movies are ISO BD movies, I have some DVD ISO movies too. I use the Media Browser, Virtual CloneDrive and (Power DVD 10 (only to BD ISO) to play them in Windows Media Center.

All my BD ISO and DVD ISO movies appear under Movies on my android phone in MMC, but when I press play, it says loading but nothing happens. The film does not begin to play.

And one of the main reasons I use Media Browser instead to Mymovies is the way the Media Browse sorts TV series that I've bought on DVD / Blu ray. Is it possible to do something similar in the MMC? It would be great.

HI,

ISO's aren't supported. Not sure I will implement this. But there is a chance.

I hope that you will create support for BD-ISO. It's the best way to get the most out of Blu-Ray movies.

I really love the MMC, it is the best way to control WMC.

Thank you for MMC :-)

My Movies (to my knowledge) simply just calls Daemon Tools with the ISO name, and then "hit the DVD" button, so it should be fairly easy?

The same is probably Media Browser and Virtual CloneDrive doing. Virtual CloneDrive is better for BD ISO, experienced some problems with Daemon Tools and BD ISO.

I suppose you can choose which program you want in Mymovies in the same way as in the Media Browser.

As I can read here, myMovies is using VCD also:

Done. The next version will play Disk- Images with Virtual Clone CD. I will NOT support Deamon Tools.

This is amazing. :-) Now I'm really happy: D
When do you think I have the option to download the next version?

Nice work with the ISO playback! Working well here. Even TMT5 control now works without windowing the player. Don't know if the latter was down to you or Arcsoft but either way it's working :).

As usual, a small request. Can you think of a way to get the "show details" to work reliably when playing back an ISO? It doesn't show the movie details ATM. Could be tricky but if it can be done I'm sure you'll figure it out.

All the best.
