install problem
This just hangs at the dos prompt when I try to install it.
Also When I quit the dos pompt and try to run the app there is no popup in the task menu to show the settings.
Win 7 64bit.

RE: install problem
Hi, if you open the start menu and type services.msc, hit enter. Are the services Task Scheduler Service (Schedule) and Windows Installer are running?

RE: install problem
Hi,
yes they are both running.
I have just checked.
I am running the installer again.
It has a dos prompt open.
there is nothing in the window and it just hangs there with the title of the app that is running.
When I close the dos window I see a popup with this message

"Error installing scheduled tasks for MCC. Please check your Windows Task Scheduler Service is running.
Do you want to install MCC anyway? Some features like autostart MCC and auto update will not work."

Hi,
where are the logs or log file kept?

RE: install problem
Hi, MCC is compatible with 64 bit Windows. MCC needs to set some scheduled task for installation and update. This isn't working on your Windows computer. You should investigate why it isn't working. Or you can just skip this part of the installation.

RE: install problem
Hi,
like I said when I skipped this stage before there were no instructions when I ran the Media control center from the start bar.
Also when I click the little pop up on the task bar to check the settings, nothing happens.
What port is this supposed to be running on.
Come on help me to get you're software working.
You wrote this right?

In you're trouble shooter you suggest this.

Use another network port.
In some cases it is necessary to change the network port in MCC in order to troubleshoot connection problems. Open the Server settings and change the network port to a different numerical value (eg 63188). The value must be between 49152 and 65535 and must set to the same value on your computer and your Android device. Open the computer's settings on your Android device and set the same port as before on your computer.

Where should I see Server settings, please supply a screen shot.
Am I missing something?

RE: install problem
The default port is 63187.

Please have look for a debug file:
%localappdata%\MCC_Server\mcc_server_debug.txt

RE: install problem
Hi,
I upgraded my PC to windows 8.
I must say congratulations on writing such a cool app.
The pause button doesn't seem to work though?

RE: install problem
The pause button in WMC isn't working if the WMC window lost the focus.
