Android Support / Re: Unexpected shutdowns
« Last post by superhoop14 on June 26, 2012, 23:47:48 »
Ok, bit of an update here... If I select a track (or album / playlist) and play this through to the end, media center seems to handle this fine. If this track (or album / playlist) then finishes, and I use the app to select a new track / album / playlist, it plays, but does not show on the lcd screen on the case and the computer shuts down unexpectedly after 30 mins.
Using MCE standby tool, I can see that when initially playing the first song / album / playlist, media center is seen as active. When this then finishes and I start a new track / album / playlist, media center is seen as idle, hence the shutdown after 30mins. Any idea why this might be?

Thanks

Android Support / Unexpected shutdowns

Hi,
First off, this app is brilliant, exactly what I wanted, so thank you! Unfortunately, I'm having one or two problems; sometimes when I have selected music through the app, it plays fine, but then the pc shuts itself down after about 30mins-which is the period I have set it to shutdown after if not in use. I have noticed that the music shows as playing on the montitor (a tv screen) but not on the screen on the case (a soundgraph lcd in a silverstone GD01MX case). Here it just shows as 'music (stopped)', so figure this must be related to the reason.
Has anyone got any ideas about why when music selected through the app doesn't register on the pc as it being 'in use'?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Android Support / Re: Problem to connect my second PC

MCC sends a network broadcast to the subnet. The MCC service reacts on that broadcast and sends a TCP answer to the client. It looks like the connection to the service (and the computer in general) works. But the connection to the server can't be established.

Do you have more than one network interface in your computer. Maybe LAN and Wifi together or something?

Yep, that was the first thing I tried.

How does mcc discover computers?

Hi, have you tried to change the default network port? In most cases this helps with connection problems.

ok a bit more,

this is weird.

I can't ping my second Pc from my tablet (ASUS TF30). The IP address is 192.168.1.101.  MCC can find it when you do a search for computers (it reports the IP addres) , but I can't ping it, how is that possible??

I also have the same problem.

I can connect to my first PC no problems. The second PC does not s\connect no mater what I've tried. MCC find both computers when I hit the find computer button. But it will not connect to the second computer, it just sites there trying to connect but it eventually times out.

I've tried re-installing everything (mcc and all the network drivers).

What can I do? what do you neeed to know to help debug?

Android Unterstützung / Fernbedienung

Hallo,

Gruss

Yes I mean the bar on the right, it’s called so in paragraph 6.1 of the user manual.
I use a Cherry Mobility Tablet Model M-677 with android 4.0.3.

I Can’t use "search" and "settings".
It states that there is “No connection to a computer”.
Which is strange, because I can view my music albums, play music etc.

Hi, im getting crazy to connect me second Mediacenter to the phone.

I already use it without any problem on my First PC, it still connect to this IP
192.168.1.129:63187

The second one is 192.168.1.130 and i tried to connect but nothing, i used a different port (Of course same port on MCC server and android APP)... but nothing... App keep trying to connect without connection.

I tried to configure firewall from the server, but nothing, so I disabled firewall and still nothing.

I think there is something wrong on my second PC i guess. But i really don't know what else to try.

Any idea?
