[Fixed 1.5.0]Have issues reading playlists

Hi, i have created some playlists with windows media 12 and after some refreshing some are ok and others will not load on the device at all. I have tested using other software and there is nothing wrong with the playlist files. I have tried wpl and m3u and the same result. Some will load(same ones each time) others will not. Has anyone else had this issue ? Sometimes only a few songs will load.

Using windows 7 and HTC Touch diamond 2.

Hi, thanks for reporting this problem.

Did you create these playlists in WMP or WMC?

used media player 7 to create, also tried other software to create with same result. I have spent quite some time on this. I have removed tags from songs just in case that is causing it. i have tired other computers just in case it was my setup. But in the end i think it is a bug in WMC as other software similar to yours has no issues with these playlists. However i want to persist with WMC as i think it is the best out there :-)

Please add some of these playlists as attachment. They should end with .wpl or .m3u. I will test them.

2010 only loads the first 3 songs

2009 does not load at all

The playlists are loading well for me. I will send you a PM with the new beta version. With this new version some more debugging informations are logged to a file which you can send me for analysing this problem.

that is very strange, that they load as you do not have the songs in your PC. Anyway will follow your instructions from your PM.

Of course the songs aren't playing but the playlists are loading.  :D

Well, no issue with the new version, it loads the playlists fine...i have no idea why 1.4 does not. I tried everything i know. Oh well. Attached is the debug info..thanks again.
Is it ok to continue using 1.5 ?

The problem was a generally playpack issue with MCC and WMC which I fixed in this new version. As I see your playlist should work now.  :)

It's ok to use the 1.5.0 version. It's the final ready to relase version.
